Tonight's Writing for Better Health Zoom link
And a poll for Sunday's What Now? Group Chat topic
“My initial goal for our four weeks together was to gain greater clarity and that has happened in so many ways: through your materials, teaching, and the discussion within this truly lovely group.”

Hi friends,
How are you getting on now the holiday period is over? I always feel a bit anxious at these transition points and need to actively make time to sit with my thoughts and feelings even when my instinct is to busy my way out of it (it doesn’t work… mwahahaha) So for that reason, I can’t wait to be live with you tonight 8-9pm UK time for the first of four hour-long sessions where we write for better health.
If you’re already a paid subscriber, you’ll find the zoom link and the poll to choose Sunday’s What Now? Group Chat topic under the paywall. If you’re not already a paid subscriber but are curious about the proven ways a simple, guided journaling practice can positively impact both your mental and physical health, then read on…
Each themed one-hour session begins with a hello followed by a reading and prompts. We’ll have time with cameras off or on to write, then get together again at the end for a round-up. You might want to read more about the Pennebaker Method here, which has inspired the creation of this course.
It is in no way a course for writers, though I can’t promise it won’t awaken something in you that you might want to explore creatively.
It is NOT a course that involves sharing your work. In fact, it’s the opposite. It is writing in a supported way as a means to process and assimilate. Writing for your eyes only. Maybe even, as a previous attendee said, writing that will never be read. Words that might be destined immediately for the fire. I like this.
It will equip you with tools for life. It will help you start, re-start, maintain or deepen a simple, therapeutic writing practice in a way that fits in with the many demands on your time. I’m not a morning pages person, so have developed ways to access that liminal, fertile state of mind at any time of day and can’t wait to share this with you. We'll also be talking about ritual tonight.
What if I can’t make it live? Each session will be recorded. Let me know if you’d like to be sent the recordings and resources and I’ll add you to the list and you’ll get it sent on Wednesdays.
“It’s been such a special time, (that I don’t really want to end!) and I wanted to send you a huge heart felt thank you for creating such a safe space and offering us so much!”

See you tonight!
