HIGHLY eventful but primarily in the best way possible (only two negatives: car rental in Ireland is insane and an enormous scam and I got a tire clamp on the rental car when I woke to leave for the airport at 5 AM- cost me 125 Euro of money I really don't have because wasn't anticipating and didn't factor that extra cost.) I aim to claim a lot of the trip expense toward my work as a research trip) but now am definitely skint and scrambling to look at how to make income and pay this trip off until I can file taxes for this year. The research trip itself was well worth it, though. Absolute treasures of people I met and interviewed toward the writing of my book. So grateful.
Major MFA assignment due Friday but can’t wait to read “All Fours” when I have time again to read for leisure. Have fun with the gathering and discourse!
