Thank you, Claire! I've been really enjoying your voiceovers too! It's great we have these tools ready to explore to personalise our Substacks and play to our strengths, isn't it?

Yes definitely! I feel like I’m one of the other formats you can have two pinned posts so maybe I’ll do that and ones obviously a video? Hmmm 🤔

The cogs are turning... I like it!

Yes it would be SO much easier if app viewers could see the home page because actually maybe it’s better on the about page? Arghh!! 🤹🏼‍♀️

Thanks, Charlene! Definitely embracing the video vibe more than the voiceover so far!

I think the best part about this is I'm now going to read everything you write as in your gorgeous accent. And that, dear friend, has no downsides. x

That's so kind, Keeley! I know what you mean though - it's why I love a good audiobook read by the actual author!

Goodness, what an awesome introduction. It made me subscribe immediately.

Hey Debs! Thank you for subscribing and also for your kind words about this wee vid. I know we're here for the words, but sometimes voices and faces can help us to understand who is behind them! Off to have a look at your Substack as well now...

I absolutely agree - I enjoy seeing faces, hearing accents and voices. I just need to work up the courage to do a similar thing for my SS!

Hi Lindsay! I'm new here. Where can I find out more about the Writing for Better Mental Health course that starts in January? Is it full?

Hey Sara! I'm delighted you're here! Yes, the course runs again from Tuesday Jan 9th, 8-9pm GMT on Zoom for four weeks. All the info on what it entails is in this post from before the last run, so skip down a bit! https://lindsayjohnstone.substack.com/p/announcing-my-writing-for-better

I'll be sharing the sign-up info on Friday of this week. Hope this helps in the meantime, and just shout if you need anything else!

Thank you so much! I've now subscribed. I'm a visual artist who likes to write, but haven't even posted on my substack yet. But I'm going to make 2024 my writing year!

Love a goal, Sara! Excited to hear more about your work, too. I'm on a writing retreat in the Highlands until Saturday, working on my next book... For me, 2024 will be the year I have this manuscript done!😂

It's glorious. 11 others – all new faces and working on various projects. I'm re-reading my WIP before my one-to-one at 3pm. It's amazing when you discover you actually wrote coherent passages, ha!

What are you writing on now? Sorry, I haven't (yet) managed to read all your posts!

(I'm interested in mental health, trauma, living with chronic conditions, creative practices, and how all that intersects in my life. )
