Helen’s longing for Tom is getting in the way of everyday life at Lochgreen, while he’s adjusting to a busier-than-normal time aboard the ship.

A technical glitch means Lindsay’s video therapy session moves back to the phone. It’s where she feel more comfortable. More connected to her therapist, somehow, and her own emotions.

Summer 2001

Lindsay remembers back to the weeks before she left home for university. Is reminded of a particularly fraught stay with her dad in Wales and a daytrip they took to Dublin.
